The Lupin are a race of wolfweres or as some call them werewolves. They are that of a human/wolf hybrid and can change forms between the two when it suites them. They are broken up into various clans who are always at war with each other over who is the Alpha clan. They have not been much of a threat to the Kingdom of Light or their ancient enemies the vampyre of the Covenant Empire for some time now. It is said they were once a great nation and all the clans were brought together under the rule of one clan the Fangborn clan which was ruled by the great Lupin Lucius Fangborn who was said to once rule over all the clans with great honor and respect. All adult Lupin have the ability to shapechange into two forms which are their hybrid human-wolf form where they appear to still be human but with wolf like characteristics but with greater strength and endurance. Their are also able to heal wounds much faster in this form although they cannot retain this form forever and have to revert back to their human forms to recharge their powers. Their second form is that a huge bipedal wolf which doubles their strength but also increases their rage and bloodlust. It is said if they remain in this form for too long they will became a victim of their bloodlust and remain trapped forever in this form and become feral. They are vulnerable to anything silver and find their powers affected in different ways when near certain moons within the galaxy.
